Use OroCup to clean and disinfect the suction system and its components and the spittoon. 1 L of ready-to-use solution is required for 1 treatment unit. OroCup is suitable for conventional suction hoses of various diameters. The OroCup cover contains 1 fixed cartridge for Ø 16 mm. Two further cartridges can be selected and used depending on the diameter. Depending on requirements, you can connect 1- 3 suction hoses at the same time; non-used connections have no influence on the function. ► Step 01: Rinse the suction system with 2 liters of water prior to every cleaning or disinfection process. Disinfect the section handpieces first before you connect them to the OraCup. The rinsing removes particles from the system. ► Step 02: Dose the disinfection solution accordingly. We recommend the suction of 1 liter of ready-to-use suction per treatment unit. ► Step 03: Up to 2 liters of ready-to-use solution can be poured into the OroCup. Place the OraCup in an upright position when sucking out the 1st liter (for the 1st treatment unit). Then, place in an horizontal position when sucking out the 2nd liter (for the 2nd treatment unit). ► Step 04: Cleaning and disinfecting the spittoon - Use min. 250 ml ready-to-use solution. ► Step 05: Finally, rinse with 2 liter of cold water after the reaction time. More about the DÜRR DENTAL OroCup: http://bit.ly/37mGjwp For the cleaning of the suction units we recommend the use of the DÜRR DENTAL MD 555 suction unit cleaning solution: Apply MD 555 Cleaner regularly as a 5% solution once or twice per week, e.g. during the mid-day break, in cases of hard water or issues related to prophylaxis powders. It may also be applied daily in the case of major deposits. The shortest exposure time is 30 minutes, which may be extended, as necessary. Prepare by filling 50 mL MD 555 Cleaner to a volume of 1 L with water and aspirate through the system using the OroCup. Add at least 250 mL solution to the spittoon also. Rinse the cleaned system with at least 1 L water after the exposure time has elapsed. MD 555 Cleaner in problematic cases and/or for clearing suction systems with heavy biofilm deposits – in such cases, apply on an alternating basis with active disinfectants, such as Orotol® plus or Orotol® ultra, at a 10% concentration (by filling 100 mL MD 555 Cleaner to a volume of 1 L with water) one to five times during the course of a week.
